that bars seem too close on that rack to get enough air flow.

I live in an apartment. I don't think clothes rack are allowed but since my deck doesn't face anyothers I've never been asked to take it down. I know one neighbour two units down also uses a rack. I use a metal rack, had a wooden one but the wood was getting mildew on it. I can fit an entire large load on it. Normally I can hang two cycles of clothes on it in the summer. I fluff the load for 2-5 minutes in the dryer and sometimes another 2-5 after hanging if it's really humid or if the stuff is very stiff.

Well, I put up my clothesline right after I posted the other day! It was pretty easy, too. I just put two hooks in our garage and looped the line around a tree. We can fit about one load of laundry on it. Two loads of diapers, except I need to get more clothespins.

I actually love it. There is something soothing about hanging the clothes on the line and taking them off.
