Need scrapbook ettiqute advice

Okay, my parents are divorced...they pretty much hate each other.

I decided to do scrapbooks for them for Christmas (My mom will get one of me, one my my brother one of my halfbrother, my dad will get one of me, one of my brother)

Here is where the question is...

1) I'm stealing pictures from both of them (I have my stepparents in on the deal) so since they each have different pictures I'm planning on making copies. I should give the orginal back to the person I got it from and the copy to the other parent, right?

and 2) What do I do about pictures of them together? Family type pictures? I think my dad would tolerate it better than my mom (long story, my dad's pretty cool, wants to be amicable at least, my mom calls my dad "The Idiot"), but I don't know for sure.

for the first I would make 2 copies. give the originals back and put the copies in the scrapbooks.

oooo that's tricky. You know them and not me so I'll give my best go at it. I'd just forego putting pics of your dad in your moms' scrapbook. I don't know if you were planning on making identical ones or not but that's just what I'd do....
