Hello, I'm so glad there's a forum for writing mothers here! I'm getting out of my current job (military) to write full-time after the baby is born. (I hope to have SOME time to write, anyway.) Just checking in to say hello.

I'm new here too, just thought i'd introduce myself since i participated in the round robin. (i hope i didn't veer the story in the wrong direction!) anyway, i just discovered this forum and am excited to have so many writing mamas to share with. I've had two published articles and was formerly a technical writer, but mostly i've been doing personal essays since becoming a mom. I haven't had much time to do my writing since my second babe was born but i feel so much better when i do that i figure even 10 minutes a day is good. Karen

Hello

I've been on the forums for a little while now, but this is my first time venturing to these parts.

I enjoy a variety of genres, but poetry and inspirational pieces are my favorite. I've just recently landed a freelancing position with a new magazine. I've been writing for a long time, but am only just now taking freelancing seriously.

Just wanted to add my hello and I look forward to getting to know all of you better.
