IS thimeresol out of all OTC meds and cosmetics now?

Ok, many of you know I have been on these boards a long time-I just stopped posting for a while. Anyway, I have many reasons for not vaxing, and whiel I think thimeresol is bad, it was not my main reason not to vax. ANYWAY< a couple years back I was doing some investigating on nasal sprays (my Dad was addicted to Afrin-like many) and learned that nasal sprays and contact lense solutions had thimeresol in them. I remembering reading it had been taken out in the 1990's I beleive. It made sense of the reaction I had to Rewetting drops in the early 90's (I swelled up anywhere it touched my skin!).

Anyway, while doing a new-very uneventful Afrin search again, I came upon a page that seemed to say it still existed in many common products (not Afrin btw lol ) So what is the deal? I am having little search luck and DS is acting up.

That link is kind of scary, list all the problems found from 'ordinary' use of Thimerosal. :

Throwing out my Maybelline Great Lash. I found an all natural makeup producer, it's expensive but I figured it was time to switch anyways. This just pretty much cemented my decision.

Or I could just give up makeup all together. But I don't think I'm quite ready for that
