Ok so we are soooo in rouble right now. My dh is commission only and we have NO prospects for sales. And they way his sales works is that you get someone in the "pipeline" and it takes about a month to close a loan from there...well, we do not even have anyone in the "pipeline"! So that means no income for at least a month. We have bills due now. We kept thinking something was going to happen and we would get a sale or someone in pipeline. Now, we need money FAST!!!! I am a SAHM so I naturally looked into being a waitress or something, but nothings came of it. Either noone is hiring or I cold not get anyone to watch my children the hours they needed me to work. I have been selling on Ebay but have ran out of things to sale. What can we do??????? PLease please please any ideas would be appreciated!

Do you have a CraigsList in your area? If so, look on there for children to watch in your home, if you can? That's what I am resorting to, watching children in our home for extra income.

Good luck.

It's horrible, isn't it ? I've been up since the early morning hours with my stomach in knots over $$ demands.

Okay - aside from the commiserating, here are some ideas - a yard sale might get you some grocery money. Do you have any used book stores in your area ? See about selling some books. Same with music stores - you can sell your CD's, DVD's, etc. Watching children is always a good idea - you can e-mail everyone you know that you're available, plus you can put up flyers in mom-friendly areas, like the library, local coffee shop, etc. Same with housecleaning - there's a seems to be a demand in our area for housecleaners who specialize in natural cleaning products - and they make good $$, $20-30/hour. You can try putting up flyers at your local HFS.

I hope things ease up for you !

Also call the churches in your area. If you explain your situation to them they might be able to help with a bill or two or get you some groceries. Also food pantries in your area or maybe even food stamps if your DH hasn't had any work in awhile..

I'd also look into watching children and having a garage sale!

Salvation Army may help with utilities/food.
