Thanks for starting this, it's very inspiring!

I'm half tempted to join the weblog except I know myself and I KNOW I'd never keep up to a weekly blog entry.

The way my house is right now, I think I could actually get rid of 7 bags of things per week!

I have so many bags, boxes, and piles, labeled "donate" that are sitting around my attic and garage.

Yeah I got rid of six bags today, I'm not sure how to count that But I'm really glad. :

I am in! Seven a week is a realistic goal! I think I'm gonna start with the bookcase also... Lately when I sit on the couch (when I get to! ha ha), I feel cluttery just looking at the bookcase!

And I love that you are journaling with pictures due to the emotional attachment... what a great idea!

I'm in! Five bags just went out the door with DH to the women's shelter. A printer went too. So, six items already for the week, I'm sure there'll be at least one more.

I am in, I need this so badly.
Today I got rid of 6 toy trucks ( that have been in my house for 7 years and NO ONE has ever played with them !) and a bag of books.
I can't wait to be ruthless with the shoe cupboard.

my seven plus books are:

2 doll beds and bedding
2 sets of candle sticks
kiddy gazebo
babybjorn potty
ballet slippers
tap shoes
educational game
growth chart

Last week my 7 were books I took to the used book store (actually more than 7) and this week I gave away 7 baby outfits. This week I think it will probably be a trip to the consignment store with all of my extra clothes.

I'm in. Cool idea. Very managable. I love that the "new posts" is back. I would have never found this.

Anyway, last week I went through and got two copy paper boxes of books out of the house(into the car) but on the way out and a bag of clothes.

I'll get started for this week. I have been wanting/needing to clear some things out.
