Well, I don't usually relive in my : teenage years, but recently I have had such a jones to listen to the Smiths that I went out yesterday and bought two CDs. jeez, they are good! Still!

Anyone else just plain love the Smiths?

The songs just make me laugh and cry and feel rebellious!

i LOVE LOVE LOVE the smiths

girl afraid has to be the best song ever recorded.

god i wish i had seen them live.

saw moz in toronto years back. twas amazing.

Yes, it would have been fantastic to see them play live. Ah, well.

That is hilarious. I love the Smiths. I just listened to Strangeways earlier today. Perfect combination of rockin guitar and croony singing. Upbeat tempo with dreary lyrics.

Um, did you know that growing up Morrisey was my imaginary bff? Unfortunately, we had some issues to overcome and it never worked out.

morrissey was my first live show and I will never forget it!!!!!
morrissey gave me flowers from the stage and I still have them all crusty and dried up in a ziploc....

what happy memories...and I listen to "the queen is dead" regularly and re-live my oxblood doc's and fishnet socks wearing days. It reminds me of a time when I was pretty and skinny...

I love The Smiths, too!
I think Strangeways is my favorite, followed by The Queen is Dead in a close second place.

I've got Please, Please, Please, Let Me Get What I Want and Girfriend in a Coma on my iPod right now. I like Unhappy Birthday too.

To me the Smiths' lyrics are so doom and gloom they come around full circle and are funny.

I could listen to Girlfriend In A Coma all day.

There's a show on VH1 called Bands Reunited. They did a show about all the bands they tried to reunite that didn't work out. The Smiths was one of them.

I The Smiths. I remember how my family used to hate the lyrics and me for listening non stop.

I quite liked the latest Morrisey album too.
