Yeah OK...this is XPosted to another board I post on as well. I'm too tired to go and get original again 
My water broke just after midnight Saturday and it took 18 hours to go into labour on my own. But I finally did (I was allowed to come home after they put in a saline lock for antibiotics as my GBS status was unknown and he was a few days before term so a bit premature). But he's here and he's perfect. The labour was amazing. Intense, powerful and empowering. I had planned a homebirth but that went out the window when the bugger decided to come just a bit too soon. I did end up with a completely natural labour though and it was a bit crazy at the end...a bit is an understatement. I went from 6 cm to full and pushing in about a minute...and he was born 3 minutes after I was told my cervix was 6 cm :noway I'll explain more when I get my birthstory together :muchlove
He is absolutely a doll. Doesn't cry for anything really and settles with nursing instantly. He's a champion nurser. Not even a day old and I can feel my milk starting to come in already. His brothers are enthralled with him too
His right ear has a few skin tags and is slightly misshapen so we're hoping that his hearing in that ear is not affected.
