Easy to Love, Difficult to Discipline? And resources on TCS/noncoercive parenting?

If I'm understanding correctly, TCS and noncoercive parenting are pretty much the same thing, no? Either way, I'd like to learn more about them. I'm reading Easy to Love, Difficult to Discipline, and while I totally get what she's saying, I'm having a hard time feeling comfortable with giving "commands" all the time. I don't know, I'm only halfway through the book, maybe that's just my perception or something, but it's just not sitting quite right with me. I'd like to look more into incorporating a noncoercive style, but I'm not quite sure how to go about it.

If anyone has any thoughts on Easy to Love, I'd love to hear them.

TIA!

You might enjoy this thread. It isn't TCS or NCP.
