What are you doing to pass the time?

I'm getting so impatient and all I think about is giving birth. I'm so excited! But the impatience is wearing me down. I'm starting to lose it. Getting teary, losing sleep, etc.

I need something to do to pass the time. So I'm looking for ideas.

I've been thinking about getting out my scrapbooking and distracting myself with that.

I've been keeping very busy. But it's not working to stave off the impatience. This week I'll be taking my 2 dds to swimming lessons every morning. In the afternoons I have midwife and doula appointments and play dates for the kids. So it's not like I'm sitting at home doing nothing.

My house is clean, my hb stuff is ready to go, I've got meals in the freezer. My dh and I are both teacher and are on summer vacation, so it feels like we're just w a i t i n g ....

What are you doing to pass the time until the babe arrives?

I love lurking here... I post now and again ...

EDD one week from now. Too long ...

My due date is a week from today. I'm passing the time by working. I have a few writing assignments that I'm trying to finish to get some extra money and have nothing waiting to be done when the baby is born. Even though I have a lot to do, I'm still antsy. I just want the baby here!

You could try www.neopets.com.

I'm in kind of the same boat. I packed up my sewing stuff because it was all over the dining room and I wanted the house clean...otherwise I think I'd be sewing! I think I'm going to figure out a place to take dd to today because we need to get out of the house.

DS is keeping me busy, but he has much more energy than I do!

I bought some nice twill fabric several weeks ago, I'm finally making a sling for Babygirl.

I have lots of things that I *want* to do over the next week or so, but I just don't have the energy.

Thats a popular one around 3 am in my house....other than that I'm on a knitting hiatus, so no more of that-but I have been cleaning my house A LOT!!!!

Nothing too exciting, just waiting on the little guy to make his entrance.
