Someone here always pulls out the term "FAT IS SQUISHY" and I love that, it's true.

What really matters is not so much the weight of the baby but how big the head is. Gabe's was 15.5 inches. Hannah's was 12.5. Oh mama, no comparison on pushing those out! She was only a pound smaller! Malpositioning and CPD are so not the same thing!

Thank you so much everyone for the wonderful well wishes and blessings. They were much needed and appreciated!

EXTREMELY short birth story (we're all junkies here, I get how important it is...):

3 July massive hindwater leak, resealed, continued gentle tightenings.
11 July early labour increasing really fast to intense, strong labour by lunchtime.
12 July, does it get more intense than this? I'd like a sleep!
13 July membrane rupture (finally dilated!!!), baby pushed out like freight train in about half an hour.

I'm exhausted just writing it down! There are pics and I will post them as soon as the camera is recharged Let me tell you, seeing the sun rise 3 times in your labour can be challenging!

Many Ob's say that c-sections are more of a thrill for them then a vaginal birth. Which is probably why it's so easily suggested, and why the reasons for so many c-sections are false. I think that's really selfish! I'm sure they're thinking, "When in doubt, resort to what *I* would enjoy most, get paid a lot more and go home early!"
