Full Moon alert!

Tomorrow night is a full moon, Tuesday July 11. (need a howling icon)

Very curious to know if that will play a big role in this group.

I know my due date is this week (july 11 if i go by conception; july 13 if i go by last period, short cycles; july 14 if i go by midwife), but i don't feel like i'll be having my baby anytime in the next few days.

Here's hoping that the moon phase will result in a few extra babies being born around here

Yup tonight. The completely full moon happens in the middle of the night tonight so while it's technically on 7/11 it is during this night.

Wow, that is tonight! And already a mama in this club is in labor...Momsmyjob!

I saw the moon last night and it was missing just a sliver out of 200-220 degree area. It was also glowing, not shining! this was early at around 8:30pm (it's pretty dark here by then we are at the far east edge of central time)

I wish I had my baby tonight!! That'd be great!

I've been counting on tonight being "the night" and have had several different people tell me they think the 10th so we'll see. I fear I'm just setting myself up for another dissapointment because once the full moon goes by I won't have anything else to look forward to to start my labor. Perhaps the castor oil?

My mom was telling me that in her time, they would say that the full moon theory is that it worked if the pg woman was in her 40th wk. That is was mostly then that the pg woman would deliver.

I'm also hoping that my baby comes tonight. Just because i'm tired of being pg and am sooo ready for the baby to arrive.

I'm due on the 11th! ooh, seven eleven, such lucky numbers, and a full moon too!

(I'm having some kind of cramping, I'm telling myself it's just the braxton hicks so as not to set myself up for disappointment... but maybe the moon will take effect soon...)

That'll make me exactly a week past my EDD...maaaaaybe?

Although I don't feel like it's going to be anytime soon either.

the 11th is the day i predicted for my babe's arrival way back
had no idea til last week it was a full moon
maybe?!?!?

unfortunately, i don't feel any labor vibes around me at all.....
but still...!!!

One thing is for sure over here.....full moon makes me NOT WANNA SLEEP AT ALL!! I have been so active, and under normal circumstances I'd be dying by now, but not today.....way too much energy!! Tomorrow I'll be dead tired I can already see that coming....

I'm due the 16th....been cramping, contracting, etc for days....I even saw the infamous mucus plug...that would be funny if a whole bunch of us went into labor any statistics on this??

When I was pregnant with my third there was a full moon the same night that a huge barometric pressure change went through our area. No luck, I was pregnant for days afterward.: I don't remember it helping anyone along in my past due date thread. A girl can hope, though.

Well, nothing happened here, as I expected it.

me too, and I'm a little too grumpy about it to use the lol smilie, but I'm trying to be serene... moderate success.

Nothing happening here either I was disappointed I slept all night
My grandma says the week of a full moon in your 40th week .... I still have hope

I had something happen around 3am!

My 2yo decided that was the time to get up for the day... but the one-on-the-inside is still, well, inside.
