Is is possible? I want to dye one of my daughters playsilks and I can do solid colors just fine... but I was wondering if it was possible to TYEDYE with a microwave and Kool Aid....

Follow the directions but instead of simmering it on the stove top, put the playsilk into a microwave safe container with it's lid partially covering the top. Nuke it for 2-3 minutes. Let it cool to a handleable (did I just make that word up?) temp and then nuke it again for another 2-3 min. It should work. It does for my wool yarn and dyeing wool and silk with KA is largely the same process.
