Pediatrician Suggested Digestive Enzymes for Poop Problems...

Our ped suggested digestive enzymes for me to decrease digestive problems with my little one. Has anyone heard of taking Pancrease for infant digestive probs?

Well we have eliminated dairy, soy, meat, gassy veggies, peanuts and wheat... basically i eat rice... anyway, even after all of that my little one continues to have stringy mucus and bloody mucus in her diaper. There is an experimental therapy with pancreatic enzymes so that my body can break down proteins more effectively before they get absobed into my body and become breast milk. Baby doesn't seem unc mfortable, but rectal bleeding is never a good thing. I'm just seeking alternatives, or affirmation that it's ok to try this therapy.

you can also get children's digestive enzymes, in a powdered form.

for you to take digestive enzymes would be great....we went through this with my second child. we wound up weaning when he just was debilitated by his allergies...

he stopped growing, so he is on a certain brand of soy powdered formula, and growing like a weed.

my LC gave us enzymes for consitpation due to the supplement. its powdered. I just mix it it with the supplement.
