Just found out yesterday and it looks like I'm due mid-march I've been having cramping since the day before my period was due, but I've read that this i fairly common? So excited to be on this board after lurking around MDC for so long!

Congratulations and welcome!

I think cramping sensations are fairly normal at this point. Annoying and sometimes scary but normal. Glad to have you here!

I hadn't known it until now (how I had a not?? I've read half a dozen midwifery books and many dozen pregnancy books!), but yup, it's pretty darn common.

Nice to meet you all, too. Yeah, it's definitely new territory!

I'm hoping the cramping will be fine, but going to the doc just to see...

Welcome and congrats, chekhovgirl! I had lots of cramping with DS1 around this time, and everything was fine. It's always good to get checked out to put your mind at ease though!

I cramped so bad I thought I was m/cing early in my first tri and I'm still pg with a healthy baby boy! Good luck to you mama!

Congrats........i'm a first time mommy to. Very exciting.

I had cramps for 10 days two of them it was so bad that I couldnt sleep went for ultra sound and WOW im prego. My sister said she had cramps almost the whole prego.
