My husband knows MALAN!!! Malan makes extra money as a cater-waiter in NY. Joel was watching a repeat late at night and laughed his butt off. He said that Malan is very weird in life as well.

I am so madly addicted to this show. We don't have cable, so I've spent the last few weeks gorging myself on seasons 1 and 2 on DVD and/or downloads from iTunes (at 2 bucks an episode! I can't help it! I'm addicted!)

Just watched the first ep of season 3, downloaded from iTunes (bonus: no commercials!).

Liked:
--Laura's coat
--Robert's cute red-bow dress
--Uli's gown (though we didn't get much of a chance to get a gander at it, did we?)

Hated:
--That Jeffrey guy and his raggedy ensemble...ugh!
--Malan's delivery of sentences like, "I prefer much...nicer fahbrics."
--Vincent's basket chapeau. (Also, he weirds me out a little, yet I also feel sorry for him. Cashing out your 401k? Dude! Stop it already! I fear he will crash and burn and end up wearing a sandwich board ad for a mattress company on a busy intersection or something. Poor guy.)

Lordy, I love Tim Gunn. I want to be his new best friend.

I have a soft spot for any of the NYC garmentos from the 80s-those were some high highs and low lows. I think Nina has a soft spot for him, too.

Awww, poor "you know who" just got eliminated. I felt bad, he cried...But his dress looked like crap, literally, like a big piece of dump.
His story was sad, about how his mother threw his drawings to the side and said to never do it again...

yep, that was one butt ugly gown. none of them particularly wowed me-I'm clearly not that interested in pageant gowns! But I have my eye on Uli, Michael, Laura, Keith, and Robert.

You know, my sister and I dubbed him the pathological liar last night. I didn't believe any of that stuff about his mother. I did believe he didn't have many friends, though. There is something so "off" about him - I just couldn't believe him.

We were devastated when he was "auf'd", however. Because we were loving to hate him AND at least he made something. Angela/Alicia/Allison??? (HAHAHAHA!!!!) just sat around drinking water and complaining. She didn't even make a sketch.

FYI for those who miss any of the shows this week/weekend, NBC is now going to air the previous weeks show on Monday nights at 8PM!!!

I'm a little sad to see YKW go just because of the drama they could provide to the show. I really hated that dress, though.

I was glad that they picked that winner. I'm sure it will make a huge difference in their life to have won that challenge.

It was sad to hear Malan's story about his mom. I would like to believe it's not true, but I don't really know if he was lying or not.

I felt really bad for the guy who got auf'd, but that dress really was terrible. It was too bad b/c the sketch was cool.

I think there will be plenty of drama around with Angela. She's mighty annoying. I would not however call her a "feminazi". What was that all about?:
