Birth Story and Update

I sent an email with a birthstory in it and someone posted it here but I wrote a better one a few days ago and posted it this morning here it is Jacob's Birth Story

we have been having some latch problems...I have been more proactive about fixing it this time and i've only had to unlatch him twice in the past 6 feedings He was trying to slow the flow of milk with his tongue so i was block nursing (nursing 2 sessions on each side before switching sides) and that fixed that problem and then he was slipping down the the nipple only while nursing and so i've been making sure he gets enough areola and taking him off when he slips down. I still have a bit of nipple pain at the very beginning but not too bad. The engorgement is almost gone already! I'm pretty suprised since I was engorged with Caleb for almost 3 wks after my milk came in.

I was having some sudden horrible peri pain yesterday adn the meds weren't touching it...i made some lifestyle changes and i'm happy to say its managable again. keep in mind mamas if your shorts are a *little* tight DON'T WEAR 'EM!! you'll regret it

I've only been wearing my yoga type pants for the last 2 weeks! Anything else is too confining. Hopefully I'll be able to get back to regular pants eventually.

Glad to hear that BFing is getting better. An incorrect latch can make a wonderful experience turn ugly really fast!
