Our vet recommended Frontline to us, since tick's are a big concern where we live.
We applied it to our Golden on the 23rd (no bath before / after)
We took her to basic obedience, and we noticed a couple of fleas. I called the vet, who told me they would die when they bit her.
Last week at her class, she came home with even more, and was just covered by Saturday.
The vet gave me a pill called Capstar (I think?) and it killed all the flea's, but made her really jittery.
She has class again tomorrow, and quite frankly, I'm leary to take her. (although she reallllllllllly needs the class, since she has some behavioral problems)
Is there anything I can do ahead of time to prevent the flea's from getting on her?
The vet said fleas are horrible this year, and to reapply the Frontline in 3wks, instead of waiting 4wks... but it doesn't seem like it's working that well anyway.
I would appreciate any ideas/suggestions/recommendations
