Didn't have any weird food cravings with DD...
But did get an aversion to milk around my 11th week.

Even though I just got my BFP today I've been eating TONS all week...which isn't normal. Last night around 10pm I HAD to have a plate of sketti.
And I just now woke up to pee and could not stop thinking about eating mashed potatoes! YUM!
I've never woke up in the middle of the night to eat! LOL!
So since I don't want to wake up DH with the smell of cooking potatoes on the stove ( ) I settled for a tall cold glass of water and a ham and cheese sandwich with mustard!

But I still want those potatoes!!

See, I'm still mostly lovin' veg. Which is a very good thing, 'cause our fridge is completely full... (I love organics delivery, I really do!)

Although I wasn't down with the slightly undercooked chard the other night. The brocolli and zucchini were fine, though.

Oh, and ice cream - yes! I'm usually rather better about this, we'll go through maybe two pints a month. I think it'll be slightly more this month... (I'm all about the Julia's Organic, btw. Almost all Ben'n'Jerry's have chocolate - which is nummy! But also migraine inducing, and I just don't need that on top of everything else, y'know?)

Ooh, can I jump in here?

Let's see. No food adversions with ds, and none so far with this pg although I am only 4 weeks. I have noticed my appetite has picked up and everything you guys are mentioning sounds great!

Spinach. It's spinach I can never do while preganant. :Puke

Actually, any mooshy green blob on plate will turn me off. I'm a little worried about the 9, count 'em 9, collards out there in the garden. I have a feeling Dh will be eating those all alone this year.

The title of this thread makes me laugh when I see it--I had to spit a green olive out in someone's garden the other day--yuck! (Granted, I don't normally like them anyway, but this one had a garlic clove in it, so I thought it might taste more garlicky than olive-y but no luck...).

And the thought of anything sugary--ugh. I don't have real morning sickness (yet... I'll be 5 weeks tomorrow, but I didn't get it with dd, so here's hoping...), but ice cream, cookies, cake--I can't bear the thought. Fruit I can do, and blueberries are just dreamy to me right now. Tamari almonds are another of my favorites--I joke with my partner that I like the "gatherer diet" in the first trimester--fruit and nuts all the way!

it's funny how different everyone is -- although for the record, I wasn't diggin the garlic clove stuffed olives the 1 time I tried them, either. I like the "gatherer diet" idea... we're just gathering different things, lol.
