World Breastfeeding Week is August 1-7, 2006.
We had such a great turnout last year for our nurse out, so I'm hoping that this year (with more notice and better planning
) it will be even bigger and better!
Saturday, August 5th 11:00 a.m. at the Crystal Mall in Waterford, CT.
We will be meeting in the play area in front of the lower level Macy's. We'll head to the food court around 12:30 for lunch (buy or feel free to bring your own). I will bring balloons to make us more visible. Be sure to stop by to get a name tag and sign the sign-in sheet!
Bring any pro-breastfeeding apparel you might have!

Why Participate in the National Nurse-Out?
"ProMoM hopes that by promoting the image of breastfeeding in this way, more people will accept breastfeeding as a natural everyday occurrence and the normal way to feed infants and young children. We also want to encourage expecting mothers by showing them that it is possible to breastfeed in public without anyone being embarrassed. "
