melissa and doug wood toys toxic paint

so i was told that M and D toys are painted in toxic paint. im gonna call them on monday but does anyone have anymore info on this so i know what im talking about when i call them? thanks!

I hope not. I have a bunch of them. My 7 month old plays with some small wooden blocks from M & D. Each block has brightly colored paint on it.

I don't know about the paint but I think they are pretty low quality and chip/break easily (with an exception of the puzzles) this has been my experience anyway. HAba/Plan are much MUCH better quality and they are not made in CHina or use any kind of child labor. Also they use non toxic paint and sustainable rubberwood. unfortunatley I found all this out the hard way as my DS is a little rough on toys! lol.
