So who's still pregnant? - Page 2

Oh, the phone. The d@#* phone. I had some really intense prodromal labor over the past weekend, and it caused me to *gasp* change my work schedule. I was supposed to be seeing patients through this afternoon, but I decided to lighten the week and just do half days Monday and Tuesday. It's hard to stand on my feet adjusting people for 5 hors straight! Anyway, since all my family members knew I was making this change, they're all calling daily to "see how I'm feeling". Not to see if I'm in labor, of course, just to see how I'm feeling. And my mom, who calls at 8:00 am to see if I'm getting any rest. Well, I might, if the d@#* phone would stop ringing for 2 minutes!

OK, I think I'm done. Thank you.

I've stopped answering the phone too. I've put a message on there that basically says that I can't get to the phone, or return calls, so if it's important YOU call ME back.

And I quit going to church too! Dh was supportive, but maybe a little puzzled, but after going by himself, and getting home, he was like "OH MY GOSH!!!" He said he couldn't go 5 steps without giving a "press conference" and by the time he left, his head was spinning, and he was exhausted.:

I said, "See?!?!?!??" So we are just hibernating. I think God understands!!!

Does anyone get "So have they told you when they think this will happen?"

If they knew that, do you think this would all be the mystery it always is? :

I am so sick of the calls- I have been getting them since the end of JUNE! UGH
My SIL was here for a week over the fourth of July and now my MIL has been here for two weeks-need I say more?

I am finally being induced tomorrow. I can't wait. The sooner this little guy comes the sooner everyone will stop hounding us and go home-right?! Tomorrow is my 11th day OVERDUE- way too long for being such a hot July!

Well, I had a ton of prodromal labor last weekend. It never got me thinking I was actually going into labor, but it did make me think that was possible...now I've settled back into my normal routine. 9 months pg and feeling like nothing is *ever* going to happen. Aside from the fact that this baby is so low I feel like I have to poop contstantly, there's no indication of anything. No contrax, no mucus, nothing nada zip. I'll just be pregnant forever :

Today I'm taking my kiddos to the zoo with a friend, as long as I can still waddle.

STILL here.... Warning TMI up ahead- last night I had some major diarrhea and I threw up everything I had eaten that day. I'm thinking "YES! My body is cleaning itself!! Something is going to happen!!" Went back to bed, no ctx, nothing. Just my little babe rolling around in my tummy probably laughing and saying "Ha ha you can't roll over in bed anymore! I think I'll sleep with my feet under your ribs". MIL is coming in 7 days. Too bad she doesn't stress me out like most ppl's inlaws. I have nothing to get worked up about

Last night we went to Walmart for a big stocking up of groceries and other things we needed. Throughout the whole store I was having regular and stronger cxn's. Dh was giddy and said lets keep walking! I never really had to completely stop shopping (dh was pushing the buggy), but I did slow my walking through some of them. We got the groceries loaded and dh said we should keep walking.

Maybe we should've because that was the end of that. At least I know we're working toward something. We're going to a flea market tomorrow and probably some yard sales. I kind of don't want to go into labor on the weekend. I have three family members to call to help with the kids and take pictures M-F because two work on weekends only. So the only one I have on the weekends is my unreliable SIL. She's unreliable and so is her car. I wouldn't be surprised if she said she didn't have any gas to get to our house....and payday was yesterday for her! She's my dh's OLDER sister, too. Sigh....I'll just chalk it up to a test of our faith that all will go smoothly.

LOL. All of my babies were born in the winter...and this one is by far the largest...and this is the hottest summer we've ever had (I will be at dd's Horse Fair today and tomorrow - in triple digit heat)...and the last two nights I have been CRABBY at bedtime...I can't get comfortable, I'm SO hot, we have mosquito issues right now...and then the baby decides to roll and kick and stuff his feet in my ribs... LOL I always wondered about those women who were miserable pregnant..."are you kidding? It's such a blessing." LOL. God must have decided to humble me.

OMG can I please vent a little? Please please please!!
My MIL is here since Wednesday - not only that she has not done ONE thing to help me, I have to clean up after her!!! This woman is so into herself it's not even funny!! I CAN NOT TAKE IT. Now she keeps asking me all the time: "How are you feeling? Any contractions yet?" Like it's suppose to be some kind of a show for her to watch me give birth!! :

I bought some food today and bought ym favorite apricots that are VERY expencive, so I only bought 4 of them. I come home and they are all gone!!!!!!!!!!!!! SHe f**** Ate them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so pissed!!! She took from a 40 week pregnant grumpy woman her favorite food without even asking me!! I told me DH to tell her to be VERY QUITE during the birth or I will kill her. One small comment and she's dead! :

And she suppose to be helpful? HOW?

Sorry guys, I really needed to vent somewhere...........

On the other side.....I have been having pretty strong contractions all day and some serious cramping!! First time since last week when I thought I was in labor already. Baby is so low I feel like I need to go poo all the time!! I hate that pressure down there! I can't walk. It's impossible. She can't be like that for more then few days......

It sounds like your MIL needs to take a trip to the store for you!!! I'm 4 days past my due date. My mom called today to tell me she's coming up here tonight. She lives about 2 hours away, but has a vacation home about 5 minutes from here. She is watching the girls when I go into labor. She said she's coming so she'll be here if we need her. She "has a feeling it will be this weekend." GREAT, so she'll be staring at me all weekend just waiting for me to go into labor! : Just what I need right now. I know what you mean about the pressure. I've been having the same thing. This just HAS to end soon.
