need some ideas-- i'm inspired!

i've been feeling the urge to do some volunteer work again (have taken too long of a break since having my second child) and would like to use what i've learned in the past three years as a nursing mom and LLL member to spread the word about b'feeding. anyone here volunteer or support breastfeeding mothers in the community and want to share their ideas? i've been thinking about having an event at my home as a way to get some great nursing parents together and accepting donations for a local organization--- or having b'feeding discussions with teen moms or at local community centers i'm no *expert* on the subject but i'm pretty good at getting people together and, like all of us on this board, i'm motivated to help change the mainstream view of breastfeeding in this culture. help me brainstorm??

How about a La Leche League House Party? These are happening all over the place, to raise funds and celebrate LLL's 50th anniversary. You can even have one of the 7 Founders of LLL attend your party via a conference call! Here's a link with more info:

thanks-- that's a great idea! wonder why i've never heard that idea mentioned at the meeting i regularly attend. i'll check it out.
