thrush and breastmilk

My baby had thrush for first 2 months of her life I froze alot of breast milk How can I use it without her getting the thrush back?

There are varying opinions on whether you can use thrush breastmilk. Some say you can use it as is, but I would not want to take a chance having experienced thrush myself. I think the safe thing to do is to scald the milk. It will kill most of the antibodies, but nutritionally it is fine.

Did you do that and have no reaccurance of thrush?

I didn't because we had very persistant thrush for several months and so I just didn't want to take any chances and threw everything out. I didn't have much of a stash, so it didn't break my heart too much. Yeast can't survive temperatures above 125 degrees or so, so you should be fine scalding it. I think Kellymom has several articles giving opinions on what to do with thrush milk.
