I want to make my own. Do I put drops of EO in a vinegar/water dilution? Which EO do you recommend? Is grapefruit good? What about rosemary?

I like either TTO/lemon or TTO/mint for the bathroom. I use TTO/lavendar throughout the house so sometimes that ends up in the bathroom too. Im a tea tree oil addict so use your own judgment on those combos.

I think that any of the above, grapefruit, rosemary, lavendar, tto, would be nice in a bathroom. Personally, I think I would prefer grapefruit for a bathroom. I have that in my car because grapefruits cleanse the palatte and the nose. That is why they serve grapefruit ice between courses at fancy restaurants. If you have a light bulb in there, you could get a ceramic ring for it and just put the eo on the ring. When the light is turned on, the heat will cause the eo to dissipate through the air. It is quite nice. I would not put it in the vinegar solution. That would just smell like vinegar.

I use a vinegar/water dilution with tea tree oil in the bathroom. Boongirl, the reasoning behind the vinegar is that it naturally dissipates odors, such as bathroom odors. It works great for just after you take out the trash too. The vinegar smell and the bathroom smell go away in minutes and just the eo smell remains. I like to use all the same eo scent or blend of scents in one room because I'm freakishly well-organized like that
: and I like tea tree in the bathroom cleaners and room spray because of the anti-bacterial properties.
