totally unsupportive...
my baby was only there a little over 24 hours but they kept me two floors away and would absolutely not let me nap in the chair next to her heater thing. and they acted wierd whenever i held her or changed her diaper. she was only a few days old and they were pushing me to go downstairs and go to sleep. when i scoffed at formula they told me i could pump and they would give it to her i negotiated with the baby's nurse that i would be okay with that if she was finger or cup feeding but absolutely no bottles(dd1 had hellacious nipple confusion) and the head nurse got all uptight about it and made it into a power struggle about bottles telling me 'youre going to have to use them anyways' ugh...
i had to pull an all nighter and nearly stabbed myself in the eye with a knitting needle when i fell asleep.
