I don't see one on my butt or ankle. Maybe it's on my scalp, like in The Omen!

I do have a brown birthmark on my shoulder, but I thought it was supposed to be an indent. I was born in 64, so i should have one. Maybe I narrowly escaped that one.

You may not get a blister if the vaccine did not work
properly or if you are already immune to smallpox. In
this case, you will need to get the vaccine again. If you
still do not get a blister after getting the vaccine a
second or third time, a health care provider will tell
you if you are, or are not, considered immune.
Can someone explain this to me? If you don't get a blister because you are already immune, why would you need to get vaccinated again? :

My dad was given the smallpox vaccine three times and still no scar. It never "took" but then they quit giving it so he didn't have to keep on repeating the vaccine.

I have a friend last year (age 24) who nearly died of a viral meningitis and he now has neurological impairments as a result. I'm not advocating the vaccine, but these diseases are not harmless.

Ugh...went to interview a new ped today. She wants to start him on vax schedule immediately, and give him shots every 3 weeks for the next 3 months. FORGET THAT!!!!! Our current ped, even though she isn't the greatest as far as being young, at least is very laid back about vax schedules. DH and I are going to delay until age 1 and then decide at that point what we want to do.

This is just too much... I can't believe how pushy these doctors are!

That made me shudder. No normal adult system could handle that onslaught of chemicals and she wants to give it to a baby??? Freaking crackpot!
