how much yarn for newborn longies?

If I use a worsted weight yarn, approximately how much yardage do I need to make a pair of newborn longies? Thanks!

For Nb stuff I can usually use one 100grm skein of worsted weight wool. There's usually enough to knit feet into them too.

Yeah, 1 skein worsted weight (3.5-4 ounces) will be enough. I usually have some left over. Get some BBR and you'll have enough for a hat.
