DEAR BABY,

: : : I just had to add this bit, theres this website I read every week to see how shes developing and all, and I'm 32weeks today and its saying I'll notice shes stopped moving round so much, excuse me are they kidding me?!!? It continues to say "Don't worry she's fine, just running short of room", darn right she's fine, and arguably she has more than enough room having commandeered my bladder space, and many other important internal organs... Although I am considering that she may have run out of room even with all that extra space... I think its appropriate to say to her:

"Dear baby, I love you and can't wait to meet you, but please PLEASE stop pushing parts of yourself so far out of my tummy that people see the massive lumps sticking out and wonder what the is wrong with me!!"

Really, I'm not kidding, please stop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mine has two nasty tricks. One: several times a day it presses -- not kicks, just presses and presses and PRESSES -- against my lower right ribcage. I feel like my ribs are strong but not THAT strong, and it is just NOT comfortable. This often happens when I am sitting forward/hunched over a little bit, and coincides with a big shove in the lower left. I can only conclude that the little wiggler is basically saying, "hey, I'd like more ROOM please," and then stretching REALLY hard to try and get it. Oww.

The other nasty trick is, well, I don't quite understand the organ displacement going on in there, but I think my stomach is up above-ish the baby, right? And the end of the GI tract is where it's always been, of course. And the road in between is long and winding and the baby must be poking and squeezing and pressing because MAN things get painful... I'm always rolling around clutching my belly and trying to roll the baby off this part or that part so things can keep moving along in there... Man.

Hopefully that was vague enough to be not TMI but clear enough so you get it!
