It is hard not to listen to all the nay-sayers out there...
I am "only" 5 days post my due date, but I'm on a more mainstream pregnancy board, and they are all shocked that my midwives would "let me" go 2 weeks over. One of those girls had a stillbirth at 42 weeks, so I can almost understand her words. But, add that to all the people from work (who call every day, just sure that I haven't let them know about the birth), who just can't believe I am still pregnant.
The ironic part is that I am a CNM, I work in a clinic, and we don't induce anyone until they are 41 3/7 weeks. Why am I so different?!?
My parents call every day....Just anxious. I was overdue, as were most of the babies in the family, so it's not unusual, they are just anxious. But, they are making me nuts!!!
: Like I wasn't close enough to nuts anyway.
So, anyway, that's my rant for the day. Just ready to meet my baby!!

: I know a lady that was due after me and she already has her babe. It's hard not to be a little jelous, but the doc convienced her that babe was going to be too big to deliver vaginally so they went ahead and did a section early
