Thank you all soooooooooooooooooooooo much for being so happy for me. I can hardly believe it. It doesn't seem real. I called the midwife I plan on using for my prenatal care. She seemed excited, but would rather err on the side of caution and have me take another test a week from now and call her back to set up my initial consultation at that time. I told her that my period was due yesterday, so she just figures that my lines were light because I tested pretty early and I should get a more definitive line by next Friday just to confirm it. I'm sure I'll be going nuts and will probably test every day between now and then anyway, just to see the line get darker.
I can't wait to start feeling nauseous or get some other preggy symptoms just so it feels more real to me. :Puke I guess I'll wait to be moved off the ttc list until I feel more sure. Maybe after a week more of positive HPT's I'll finally be able to grasp that this is for real.

Kewpie, I like the idea of testing each day to see it get darker. If you end up doing that, maybe you can submit a pic of the series of tests to twoweekwait.com. I find that the pics of the series of tests are helpful & interesting.

quick question for anyone that knows....

Does anyone know the difference between the dotted line and the solid line on FF???
The dotted line means that it thinks you ovulated, but there are conflicting signs (like maybe you had a temp rise, but still have EWCM or your cervix position is HSO). A solid red line means that all signs point to O!

HTH!

itsang: Those BFP progression pics on tww.com, peeonastick.com, and ff are what made me think that super-light-almost-invisible line I got on my test 2 days ago may actually be positive. I started looking at how progressions like THIS ONE and THIS ONE looked so light at the beginning and thought, "Hhhmmm.....maybe mine will get darker too..." I probably would've just chalked it up as a negative if it weren't for those pics. I will definitely post mine on there. Only, one of mine will be a First Response and the rest will be Dollar Tree because I won't be able to get to the Dollar tree until tomorrow evening and the test I'll have handy to take tomorrow AM will be the First Response. Oh well.

Kewpie...Maybe you'll get a super dark line w/ the FR test. I bet you're just stoked...you'll have to let me know what's in your diaper stash & how it works out for you. I really want to start on mine.

I can't wait to get pg...I'm gonna pee on like all 50 internet test strips I own & make some art project out of them. Just kidding. (sort of.

Ang- have you received your book yet. im getting anxious to figure out my crazy cycle.
Colette...I emailed the company & say I will have it by the 16th...sometimes this happens when I purchase used books online. I think they put them up for sale before the original owner is done reading them.
Wouldn't surprise me at all!!! Well atleast you know you are getting it!

Hi everyone! I am the bigest lurker!:
Congrats to kewpie-o! HUGE hugs!!
here's a little update on me: I had a meeting with a FAM instructer about my crazy charts. (I am nursing a two year old) I have yet to get the big O or my period. Seems like my body really wants to wait on a second right now. Though last night and today I had the TINIEST bit of spotting. Wahoo! Maybe just maybe I'm getting closer!

Hi 26 year old here, trying for number 3!

I have not read the whole thread, but I would love to join in

After much talk and waiting and considering, we are finally going to jump! ttc as of now! How exciting!

Not charting or anything at this point....just going to have fun and see what happens...if it is anything like my previous pregnancies, it shouldn't be too long .................................but I am a bit older and it has been a few "health problems and procedures" later....hoping everything goes well... keeping my fingers crossed!
