So if I want to up my own vit K intake, what are some good foods to increase?

- leafy greens contain the highest amounts of vitamin K (ie. swiss chard, kale, collard, cabbage, dark lettuces, scallions, etc.)

That said, I doubt I need to take a supplement at all since this time of year I'm eating multiple servings of greens daily since we get tons each week from the CSA farm. Hope I'm not getting TOO much!

BLEH! I am not a huge green leafy food lady. Baby spinach? Does that count? I like that. Maybe I will stock up.

You can take alfalfa tablets/capsules for vit k. They are such a great source for other trace vit/minerals that I take 8/day (for the last 12 years) I give them to my dh and kids too. Start out easy though 1/day for 3 days adding 1/day until you reach 6-8/day. Super easy way to get in leafy greens!
