I am 4 days OD according to LMP and 7 days overdue according to US. Cadan was just before his due date...what is going on?

It's perfectly normal to be past your "due date" because the 40 week mark is an average. Women normally give birth anywhere between 36 and 43 weeks gestation. You're okay, mama, hang in there! You'll meet your baby soon!

What's going on is you have an entirely different baby in there who will come out when THEY want to!!!

hang in there, Mama! just like the pp's said, it's normal to go overdue, and every baby is different! i read before that 70% of baby go past due date (if allowed to go at their own time without induction).

my 3rd baby was right on due date, and this last baby was 8 days past. both babies gave me 8 days of prodomal labor, so with this last one the prodomal began on the due date.
