Make it stop!!! Or start...

Morning #2 of false labor. Ctx will start up around 5-6am, and by the time I can get back to sleep, DS is awake and I'm exhausted. This morning's episode was pretty hard, I was sure it was the real thing. I am so sick of this start and stop crap!!! My MIL will be here this afternoon. She's flying in from Miami. Hopefully I can send her, DH, and DS out to do something while I get some rest. I can't go into labor being this tired.

don't call it false labor. even though it's frustrating, any contractions goes toward the greater good (getting that baby out). it can get so exciting when they start up, but then be such a let down when they stop, but it is accomplishing something.
hope's yours catch on real soon.
hope you get caught up on your rest when your MIL gets here.

I've been trying to remember this myself : Sometimes I call them warm-ups. But it is soooo frustrating when you feel like you might be getting to the real deal, and then you're not. But just not YET. I'm trying so hard to remember that every day does bring me one day closer, it just doesn't tell me how many days are still left. But it's still one day closer........

(OK, now I'm really grasping. I want a baby NOW!)

Tuesday night we thought it might be 'it'. But I was able to fall asleep after a bit and when I'd wake up to pee I'd have a few more, but nothing to write home about. I was so tired from being up late and the interrupted sleep that dh stayed home from work. He helped with the kids and housework and I was able to get in a nice long nap while dd slept and he took care of dh. Lovely! The whole family nested last night and contractions are still coming, just nothing with a pattern or any significant increase in strength.

Drinking my RRL tea and trying to not let the anticipation get to me. I want to meet my baby now!

I just remembered something... the strong ctx only occur late at night/early in the morning, and ONLY when I am laying down. If I get up, they stop. Whats the deal??

I had 3 hours of 5-7 minute apart ctx this morning. Now it has been 30 minutes without one. Aaarrrrgh!:

Funny how different we all are, because the more active I am the stronger they are. When I go to bed they stop...just like last time.

In our Bradley class they told us to change our activity to see if it is "the real deal" or not. Some of the suggestions are to: walk, rest, eat, drink, and take a bath/shower. If your ctx continue when you have gone through the list, chances are it is the real deal. I hope things get easier for you (or harder and leads to the real deal!).
