hi gals,
Just wondering if anyone else out there has had "ovarian drilling" and what, if any, effect it had.
My RE did this procedure two weeks ago as a bonus during my septum resection surgery. I'm glad she did it--I think. I'm curious to hear from others whether it had any impact.
In short, it's a procedure used mostly for IR/PCOS women and it involves making a series of tiny cuts around the edges of the ovaries. It is supposed to help regulate the hormonal balance inside the ovaries and result in successful ovulation.
RE says now we have 70% odds of conceiving on our own in the next 3 - 4 months.
