Astrology Changes 2008-2012 - Page 3

Hi people

I only popped in here b/c someone on the "Secret" thread asked me to come over and share my little blurb of positivity. I thought this thread was going to have a bunch of panic in it, which I don't actually see - except it's getting a little Y2K flavor with the talk of gold bullion and such I guess.

The astorlogical part is true, and actually anyone with eyeballs can see the precursor, the warm up time, well we are in it already. My spiritual teacher is right when he says that 80% of the earth energy is running negative now, and getting more negative. the negativity is a direct correlation with the absense of spritiual focus in our communities today. We are informed by astrology that this is going to become more intense through until 2014. I never trusted electro-banking anyway, etc. but getting into a weird hoarding crazy Y2K thought process is very counter productive. Stay away form crazy. This negative spurt is just looking for crazy thought to latch onto and run with. Don't do it!

I'll tell you all there will be mighty natural disasters, there will be crunch times, there will be an arch of violence that is horrific, all of that will come before 2014. At 2014 there will begin a conscious shift and the majority of the world will go from the material paradigm and move toward spiritual thought again, which will begin a time of great healing and light and relief. In California where I live there will be a catastrophic earthquake soon, stuff like that is just the natural world reacting to the incredible negativity the human race is running right now.

So the challenging part will come and all I want to say is this:

God is all. God is always in control and in charge of everything, God is everything, no matter the insanity we humans perpetuate on ourselves. So please don't fret yourselves to death with thoughts of doom. if you simply ground yourselves in light, make a daily practice of some good solid spirit contact with the Great Creator, you will be fine. Aliens or no.

God is in charge of the aliens too. (laughing)

Be well everyone, and pray, and stay positive always - the Secret is a great tool, and what the bleep and all that stuff. Meditate and pray and keep your eyes and heart open to the signs from the Divine that you are protected.

Love and Light

ernestholmes~Thank you for that message. I think it important to start doing that now, that way it will be habit by the time stuff really picks up.

I, however, am a little taken aback that you think it is crazy to want to invest in gold. It is a sound investment, just like any other thing. Am I going to put all of my money in it...no, that would not be so smart; I think moderation and balance are key to anything.

I did not think this thread was anywhere near the Y2K hype, but that is just me.

Blessed Be.

regardless of what is or isn't coming ... we can't change those events or control them ... the best we can do is live our lives the way we want ... to make those spiritual connections ourselves ... to live in joy, love and peace. anything else, imho, is secondary. nurture your connections, nurture yourself and when you think you're loving enough, love some more

Hello!

My post does not say that buying gold is crazy in any way. There was a vague feeling building within the context of the posts designed to give one a feeling of doom in one's belly - and to act off that feeling in a way that will give root to crazy thinking and behavior that is not positive.

I found this cool link in the "Secret" website - in case you haven't run across it yet I thought it was really exciting. I'm going to peruse all these websites while I wait patiently for my DVD to arrivew from OZ. They are tremendously positive, just the right energy to bring us all up to the divine level where we're living our best life.

I had an interesting experience this weekend. I noticed that the only thing we really "hoard" is money, as in savings. I told my DH that maybe we should start dipping into the savings to give some of it away (that hit a nerve! ) Anyway, right after that I tried to give away some passes that we weren't going to be using and instead of taking them the people we were offering them to gave us even better passes that we could use. A friend saw this exchange and pointed out that people are always giving us good stuff. I told her that it was because we were being generous.

Yes! I love that...

I really like the way this group of people are so interested in things like not hording and preparing for hardship by strenghtening relationships.
Yes. Okay, let's talk about way to strenghten community ties.

We have been trying to have other families over for dinner. I had been intimidated for a long time because I feel more comfortable with the lower social class people, and only had those familes over, but there are a lot of families that I like as well who are out of my league. We have been trying not to worry about having them over to our humble abode and so far so good.

We are also trying to stay put and not move, because every day we are strenthening ties for our children and our selves.

I really like the idea of entertaining every other weekend as a way to build my community.

Sounds good, we tend to stay in our shells because families are so busy in our times.

I am the only one in my family that invites people over for dinner and fellowship.

Does this news story give anyone else the jeepers in terms of the facist elements of trine

CHARLESTON, S.C. — The nation's governors are closing ranks in opposition to a proposal in Congress that would let the president take control of the National Guard in emergencies without consent of governors.

The idea, spurred by the destruction and chaos that followed Hurricane Katrina's landfall in Louisiana and Mississippi, is part of a House-passed version of the National Defense Authorization Act. It has not yet been agreed to by the Senate.

The measure would remove the currently required consent of governors for the federalization of the Guard, which is shared between the individual states and the federal government.

Yes, and the Patriot Act as well. Freaky.
It scares me! I thought that was what the Active Duty military was for?? Why do we need governors if they will not be allowed to dictate what goes on in their states? Why are we spreading "democracy" around the world if we are becoming more of a military state? How long until 2008 (rhetorical)?

I have no knowledge of astrology but I definitely feel a coming crisis in the world. I think you'd be hard pressed to find a person who doesn't feel it!

I just wanted to add one thought to the great ideas being expressed here about community & preparedness. I think that we should focus on creating bounty - as a loving and generous alternative to hoarding.

As an example, I'm an amateur veggie gardener, and I plan to become more proficient at that art over then next 5 years so that my family can live off of mostly our own food. Heck, I want to be able to feed the whole neighboorhood from our 40x30 backyard! :

So, think of your talents - can you sew, can you make things, can you fix things? Think of how your skills translate - not just to survival, but to creating bounty for your family and for others - and then work like mad on refining those skills!

Becoming self-sufficient brings out the best in people. If I can grow my own food, sew clothes for DD, and DH can build a cistern to collect water or learn to build a bicycle from parts - these are all resources, skills, and trades that contribute to not only our lives but those of everyone around us. They also tread more lightly on the planet, easing the burdens we're creating right now.

Bring your life closer to the land, closer to your heart, closer to what it was meant to be - and you will ride out the storm.

goodcents, my own sense is that there are hideous movements in congress and senate sessions every decade that are just ridiculous. Pluto in Virgo, Libra, Scorpio and Sag (the last 50 years) have all had just ridiculously myopic efforts by politicians....and it won't change with pluto in Capricorn...but I will say when it goes into Capricorn I think a lot of politicos are going to fall down...and step on their johnsons.... what is that quote?? "abuse of power comes of no surprise." and I do believe there will be a certain come uppance... seriously.

okay...so that gives you a basic little intro to some of the stuff off shore... and just to repeat what my own thoughts.. the stars impel they don't compel meaning.. we are in charge of our life, but what we do during this weather forcast is up to us....
No one should be scared... we should just harness our energies as in The Secret.. or even like in our Treasure Maps... and we should have an antenna up... if our gut says we need to move, change jobs, downsize, move to be closer to someone... whatever.. then my feeling is follow thy gut.

kerry, no one is out of your league! and I am not surprised that you found it to be good once you started to fold the other families into the mix....... that is just awesome.

I just wanted to say hello! I have been reading this thread, the secret thread and the NEW thank you Tracy thread and I love what you all are talking about.
I am trying to be a person whom I would admire and want to know. You all seem like women I would be so happy to know.

My DH and I are trying to turn a new page and be as positive as possible and put out the good vibes into this world that so dearly needs it. If my DH is recognizing this, miracles are happening. He is a critical thinker let me say...

I am hoping to order THe Secret at some point...

Love all the posts...

Thank you!!!!

Oh and this is my 300th post! WOW! Glad I did it here!

Just wanted to put in my twopenniesworth. I have been following this thread with interest and really like a lot of the ideas about sustainability and a new movement towards spiritual awakening as these are ideas I have had knocking around in my head for a good while. However....

I just want to add that human history is full of violence and woe and I don't think that now is any better or worse than it has ever been we are just more aware of it. Medieval Oxford was more violent than Los Angeles in the 1990's and there were less folk around who thought that wasn't ok! I don't think that we can single out our current era and say it's the worst its ever been, it isn't. There is significant evidence that in Europe there was a mass genocide during the CroMagnon period which was about 30 000 years ago! The natural world has always been up and down as have the affairs of human beings. Hopefully, if there is a change, it is towards a greater tolerance and spirituality and away from greed and self loathing which is what seems to be at the core of the human condition.

My point is ... and I think there is one somewhere... whether this age is significant or special astrologically, historically etc isn't actually the point. This is significant because it is OUR time to be, live and make of the world what we wish it to be. This is our opportunity in this incarnation to live. For me that makes it the most important time ever! I hope these comments are relevant to this thread which I am finding interesting but a tad scary so this post is to make me feel better too

Awesome post. It's all relative. Fearmongering (sigh) does get peoples attention...unfortunately.

"Where there is fear there can be no love;
Where there is love there can be no fear"

--part of a chant I learned from Lisa Thiel tape

just getting caught up on this thread, as I finally have my dsl up and running with my laptop sitting on a pile of boxes in my table-less kitchen :

Tracy, I can totally see from your earlier post why you in particular are really feeling Pluto's upcoming transition into Capricorn! Pluto crossing the angles is big. (Scorpio IC, here) ok, enough jargon.

having people over and building community.... yes! guess we could sit around the coffee table on the floor, or on boxes
