I am having other signs of PPD as well. My doc wants me to go on an anti-depressant and I am okay with that (I have been on it before). However, When I had depression/anxiety before I didn't hurt like this. My ligaments and muscles hurt. Especially the ones in my breasts/underarm area and the ones in my abdomen/perinium/rectum to thigh area. My dd is 6 wks and the ligament pain comes and goes, it is worse now than right after her birth. Other ligaments hurt, also. Anyone else deal with this? My doc is also checking my thyroid levels. I am wondering about fibromyalgia? Any advice or BTDT stories would be great. TIA

I have all over body aches and even in my joints (I had severe PPD and I am still having some isses with that). I am being throughly tested for hypothyroidism because I also have teribble fatigue. Make sure that your dr does not just test the TSH or a throid problem could go undetected. The books Mood Cure and Diet Cure by Julia Ross go more in depth about that.
