Thank you so much for all your well-wishes and good vibes!

We've been home for 24 hours now after spending 4 days in the hospital (standard for first timers here) and a 23 hour labor!

Carla was born on the 31st of July at 23.07 weighing just over 4kg and measuring 50cm.

We're so very very much in love with her :

Popping in from Feb ddc. I just want to say that Carla is a gorgeous baby! She doesn't even look like a newborn. Enjoy that baby! I just wanna eat her up!

Thank you thank you - Now I'm hoping the mamas that are still waiting have a much easier delivery than we did (although I'm not complaining - she came out, that is the most important thing..)

Lay about, eat and take painkillers and wait for the milk to come in

The last two days I was completely homesick, but it was nice to have a little button to press when I couldn't quite get her to latch in the middle of the night (and because I was so tired I didn't even mind strangers squeezing my nipples!).
