So...I've struggled with milk supply all along and am constantly worried that DD isn't getting enough. She's waking now at 10:30 pm after going to bed at 7:30. And she wakes up a couple more times in between. I can nurse her at 4:30 and she wakes up at 6:30 am wanting more and then, eats a whole carton of yogurt!! (She's 9mos.) SO....ANYWAY...I got this kick-a** virus the last two days and was almost passed out for the last 18 hours due to high fevers!! I didn't hear anyone coming or going, I was just on the couch shaking and aching and UGH....it was HORRIBLE. I nursed DD as long as I could, but yesterday, I missed her 4:30 pm feeding all the way through until this morning. DH gave her 4 bottles!! While I appreciated the help, and don't feel like I could've done any better, I'm worried about what the consequences will be. What do you guys do in that situation? I couldn't even MOVE to be able to pump, so...what are your suggestions? I'm sure I'll have supply issues for the next couple days because of it. Not to mention that I don't know if my body was even producing much milk during all that. I was TERRIBLY thirsty and drank gallons of water, but never had to pee (TMI, I know).
