I am undergoing my first FET after a failed fresh cycle.
My DX is T/L and Irregular cycles. I am a PROUD SAHM of 3 beautiful kiddies, Gia (12) Joe (7) & Samantha from a prior marriage. I look forward to being apart of this board. Lots of Baby Dust To All!

Welcome, Melissa! Today on this forum we just had one from FET!

I am having my FET one week from today. I am having two embies and one blast transferred. I had a failed IVF cycle in June. We are fortunate that insurance covers IVF, but they cover only two cycles, so this is our last chance.

I already have a 6-year-old son, who is the light of our lives. He will turn 7 four days after my beta on the 21st. He is very excited at the prospect of a baby sister or brother. :

Do you have a date yet for your FET?

Welcome Melissa!

I am in the FET group, too. We are doing a cycle in September. In fact, if AF ever gets in gear (sure, the one month I WANT her to show up...) I will start bcps and get a move on with my meds to get my lining all nice and ready for a babe. By my calculations, I will test right around my birthday at the end of Sept. What a present that would be!

Hi guys, thaks for the welcome. I met with RE. He took blood and if everything thing loks good tomorrow I may start PROVERA to bring on AF. He said even though I did not obtain the ultimate goal an on going pregnancy, the fact there was Implantation is a great sign.He said his goal is to do an UNMEDICATED CYCLE. He feels it is better on the body and he finds patients respond better. So finger crossed BW looks good and I can bring on AF. My cycle will just include oral estrogen 2x a day and PIO 4 days before transfer. So that is my update.
He said embies of of the best quality on the scale of GOOD! He feels very confident and sad he feels there is a very slim chance that they both wont make the thaw!

Just joined today!

Hi Melissa and everyone!
I just found this site today and I must say, I'm getting a little overwhelmed: . I am scheduled for my FET in September and will start my first Lupron injection on 8/17. This is my first IVF cycle. It seems like you are all pros. Is there anyone that is going through this for the first time. I'm scared.

I was diagnosed with Stage IV endo this year and had my surgery in March. My doctor thinks we have a good chance with IVF because he says I'm still young (31) but there is no telling how much damage the endo did to my organs. As you all understand, this has already been a very hard year for my husband and I. My hormones are a mess (I cry all the time) and I haven't even started the medications yet!! What can I expect? Does anyone have some advice? Just looking for support and this seems like a great group.
