They want to check hCG levels again on Monday then if everything looks good they will schedule an ultrasound. Do you remember what week they do that? As of right now according to them I am 4 weeks. Which is so weird because they have only been in there for 2 weeks and 2 days, but they go from last period. I think they can see the HB at 5 weeks but it has been so long since I was pregnant with DD.

I had my first ultrasound at 6 weeks, then another one at 8weeks. This time and the last time we did IVF, they told me that they may not be able to see the heartbeat at the first ultrasound and that they should for sure see one at the second ultrasound. But, I think they really do hope to see a heartbeat at the first because you are right about the five week mark.

When they did my 1st ultrasound this time they could see the heartbeat but they couldn't get a measure of the rapidity, etc. because they were just too small. At the second ultrasound they were able to see and measure.

I'm excited to hear about your progression. Congrats again!
