washing wool doll-hep!

My dd's wool doll is in dire need of a bath. We got This doll for dd's first birthday, dd just celebrated her 2nd birthday in July and this poor doll hasn't had a bath the entire time because I'm afraid of ruining her! Please, I need to know how to clean this baby doll! (it didn't come with care instructions)

Here are photos of my daughter washing her baby after they shared some Oreo's and looked out the window screen together for a while. His poor little nose! He was nasty lookin!

We used a small amount of Eucalan wool wash and rinsed him out really well.

The big trick is to dry him really evenly. You can't let the cotton face get water spots while drying. If youleave them in one place to dry they get pressure spots from dirt residue or something. I did fine just changing his position every half hour or so and keeping him infront of a fan.

I still haven't heard fromt he company... guess once I get my kookaburra I'll give it a try. If nothing else I can replace the doll... at least it wasn't as expensive as most waldorf babies... but I really hope it doesn't come to that... itwas her first dolly *hormonal pregnant mommy moment*
