?? what's the difference between bloody show

and bloody mucous.when I was checked on monday morning at 9am later that day I had some pinky and clear mucous but then yesterday I had oodles and oodles of thick,long,stringy(sorry for TMI ) yellow mucous with red blood in it,all day,every time I went to the bathroom.I figured if the blood was from my check it would have been brownish by then?mucous today also,so is the time near?DH is going into work (an hour and a half away)at 1pm and not coming back until tomorrow pm and i am a little nervous about being on my own
what do you think??

Hehe, I think the only difference is in hindsight... if you start to labor in the next few days, it was probably a show. If not, probably just from the vag exam.

Sounds like the mucous plug to me. I started having this same type of discharge at 30 weeks with some bright red bleeding for about an hour. Then it went away. Then I had a definate increase in mucous and bloodiness- you could see little streaks like teeny tiny blood vessels- at 34 weeks along with preterm labor that was stopped. Then at 36 weeks my water broke and ds was born. I had this bloody show about 2 1/2 weeks before dd was born as well. Hope its soon for you!!

Yikes! Difficult to say. From my births with my boys that sounds like your mucus plug. How soon before labor did you loose your plug with your other babes? Labor could still be a week away even if it was your plug.
I'll be praying for your hubbs safe return in plenty of time before baby day.

Not in your DDC but saw your post under "new posts" Any red that you see is bloody show But it could still be a few days. It is going to be soon by the sounds of it though.
