I've dealt with this about ten times since DS was born. It's never been a big deal--it's just painful to nurse for a day or two. My home remedy is to just nurse a ton and do a lot of self-massage.
The thing is that I thought we would have grown out of this problem by now. Instead, it seems to be happening even more frequently. It often happens when DS sleeps really solidly through the night (as opposed to waking to nurse a couple times.) It's such a bummer to finally get a good night's sleep only to wake up with this discomfort!
Anyone else have this as a recurrent problem? What dietary/lifestyle factors influence clogged ducts? Should I set an alarm to make sure we don't wait too long between nursing sessions? ( Pleasesayno, pleasesayno, pleasesayno....)
