Do you have any leanings towards Boy or Girl? - Page 2

we have two little girls so DH is adimit this one HAS to be a boy! lol i, on the other hand, use to want a boy but this is such a shock and i have never been around boy babies before for more than a few minutes so i want another girl! i mean, we have everything, right? plus i like our girls name better. lol but whatever we get will be a blessing and we'll love him/her forever!

i did the chart thing and they say girl BUT if they're correct then my other two girls should have been boys LOL.

I really, really, really, really want another girl. I have two boys, and I think one more might just do me in.

I'm feeling boy. We have 2 girls. While I am kinda leaning towards wanting a 3rd girl, this will be our last bio child and I am happy with either sex. My husband suggested a boy name to me and I already think of the baby that way.

The Chinese chart thing was only right for one of my girls.

I dont know... on the one hand, I would love for my daughter to have a sister. I also have a lot more girl clothes than boy - when we found out #2 was a girl I got rid of a fair amount of boy clothes.
On the other hand, it would be great for DS to have a brother. To be honest, my dd and I have an amazing bond and I cant imagine having another daughter. So I dont know.

I think it's a boy. Before I got preggy and my mom knew we were trying, she said she had a dream that she was holding a newborn little boy in her arms. She says her dreams are usually right on about predicting babies in our family....but I just found out that my cousin is pregnant as well....I guess the little boy in the dream could very well be my cousin's baby, for all I know.

When my pastor's wife found out we are pregnant, she inadvertantly called the baby "he" and "him" and says she never does that, so she thinks it's a boy. And let me tell ya, this woman has a lot of intuition and discernment when it comes to a lot of things that are not clear to most people.

DH and I already have a boy name pretty much set in stone, and I had a feeling even before we got pregnant that our firstborn will be a boy. We'll see

I think you can start hearing the heartbeat at 7 weeks faintly but it just gets stronger from there!

I am not sure what I am having right now, I guess I just need more time to get to know this one (I knew with the last two, but I'm not sure if I knew this early). I did the ring thing and it said a boy. I honestly would prefer another boy. My DD is an amazing little girl who tends to be very spirited! I just wonder what having another girl would do to that spark she has--KWIM?

I have no real preference (or inkling, at this stage) for either sex, but with two boys already, I'm a little nervous at the thought that it might be a girl. Little boys I can deal with. A little girl might be trouble

well we have the two girls and my stepdaughter so odds are dh made another girl I tell him its because he's so sensative
I feel its another girl right now, but I would love to raise a son, especially with all the female influence he'll have in the house He'd be a great guy
I will take either though, girl will be easier since we have everything for a girl, but then someone I work with has a ton of boy clothes she could give us

You can use a threaded needle. That's what my mom has always done.

You can hold it over your forearm (underside up) or in front of your belly.

Circle for girl, side to side for boy.

EDITED: Forgot to mention that this test is for ALL children. For instance, with me, it goes in a circle (for dd) then stops. Then it goes side to side (boy) but then goes in a circle (girl) without stopping.
I'm a twin. It's only me and my brother, and my mom says that's what it does when she does the test. So I have no idea what this pregnancy will be!

since i have some of each i really don't have preferance!
but i am really feeling Girl with this one, but DH is feeling boy...
with all 3 of my others we agreed and where right about what we where going to have, we also always wait till birth to find out what the sex is

so maybe its twins !! since we both feel it lol

dh could be right tho cause i am not sick yet and with the girls i was sick right away, and with my son i was only sick from 8- 12 weeks

who knows!!
i never have had an u/s with any of my pregnancys but i am kinda really wanting to know what this one is!!! so we will see what i decided around 20 weeks! DH tho since i drilled in to him no u/s with our first, is really against having one now unless its NESSASARY... of course a phsyco wife that wants to see her baby could deem it nessasary!

I've been thinking about this a lot lately. I've talked with other Moms too and they say the same thing: lots of ms with girls and none (or not much) with boys......hmmmm. I'm not sick this time around (just slightly nauseous every now and then), but with dd I was sooooo sick that I couldn't eat for the 1st tri.

Off to try the ring test.

Oooooooh this is weird. It was clearly back and forth. And I tried it in different rooms in case of draft.

I won't dare tell dh or he'll get his hopes up. I already told him that the chinese gender predictors all said "girl" and he said "really?......oh". So I'll leave him at that for now.

MMmm, I'm thinking boy. I would be really shocked if it was a girl. I was shocked that DD was a girl, I just figured that I would only have boys. I guess we'll find out for sure in April!

Edited this above to show that the test should show ALL children.

I guess the chinese predictors are no help in my case. I either got PG on the last day of July or the first day of August (not sure which) and it is boy for one and girl for the other. Off to try the ring test.
well the one said girl for me then i did the ring and it did both lol sooo hmm
post #39 of 49
Dh and I both think we are having another boy. We are excited either way.

2 said boy and one said girl! Now what? Anyway I have no clue. But I am prepared either way. I have all of Rosalynn's old clothes and I got a box of 0-6 months boy clothes off of freecycle the other day so we're good to go!
