He's here!

Alexander Raphael showed up on July 31st, 1:06pm via c-section after a failed version. He was 8lb. 1oz, 20 inches long. It ends up that my uterus is heart-shaped and that's why he and Grace turned so late in pg.

I have to say that it is really nice to get to post this after two unsuccessful pregnancies and 4 years of trying for this little guy!

Congratulations mama!

I'm sorry for your prior losses.

Welcome welcome!! Ahhh, it's kinda sweet in an ironic way that your uterus is heart shaped. You got to hold your children in a heart for 10 months. I am so glad that this worked out for you, and that you made it happen after 4 years of trying! Wahoo!! Way to go Mama!!

Congratulations Keri. I know how hard it is for us mommas who try so hard to have our little ones and when we finally get them it is so unbelievable.

A version is when they manually try to turn the baby from breech to head down. Pushing /pulling manuvers on your abdomen to try to get the baby to turn.

Congrats on your little boy!! I hope you have a smooth and easy recovery. Hold him as much as possible- they grow up into great big kids way, way too quick
