FET coming up

I'm in the last days before my FET. I had b/w and u/s done yesterday. They said my lining looks perfect, but they called in the afternoon and said that my estrogen was not as high as they would like (despite the four -- count 'em -- four estrogen patches I started wearing the other day). They said it's not uncommon at this time of year because they heat and humidity can inhibit the absorption from the patches.

So they prescribed estrace tablets that I insert vaginally. I have noticed a change. Instead of crying at every other thing, I now cry at every single possible thing. Fortunately, they said that this won't change my transfer date. I have b/w tomorrow to make sure it's all going okay.

Megan, you crack me up! I am glad you haven't lost your sense of humor! (so, did you cry at the Planter's Peanut commercial the other day like I did? )

We'll be thinking of you tomorrow and hoping for perfect b/w.

Oh no, Dena! I don't think I know that commercial! I hope I don't see it!

I had my estrogen tested today. It was 860, up from 250 the other day. So that's good!

Yay! Sounds good!

The commercial was actually pretty bland, but for some reason I just sat there bawling. And that was BEFORE the hormones. Yipes.

It's done!

Well, here I am, sitting in bed with the laptop, hopefully as a pregnant woman. I had my transfer at 1:45, and the doc put in three lovely little multicellualr embryos.

He said it would work this time because there was no reason that it didn't before. I asked if I could get that in writing. Then the nurse saw the pic of the embryos and she commented on what great looking, healthy ones they were.

They are thankfully not making me wait a full 2 weeks. I had b/w this Friday just to test my estrogen and progesterone, but then next Friday, the 18th, I have my pg test. Eleven days is only slightly better than 14, but I'll take it!

Hey! How are you feeling? I was thinking about you today.

Good luck Megan! I can't wait to hear some good news!

oh the suspense is killing me!! I mistakenly thought today was the Friday, but it isn't til next week...can't imagine how hard the wait is for YOU, Megan!

I'm doing fine. Today is my last day on post-septum-surgery hormones and I should be getting the biggest period of my life in a few days. After that, doc says we have a 70% chance of getting pregnant on our own over the next four months. We'll be doing our part...

Don't I wish, Leslie! I had my estrogen and progesterone checked today, and the nurse called to tell me that everything looked great. "Optimal" was the word she used, meaning that everything is right for pg. But in my mind I hear "everything is right for pg, so if it doesn't work, it's for no apparent reason, just like last time." :

I have had a couple dizzy spells and a couple bouts of mild nausea. My friend congratulated me on my dizziness tonight. "Dizzy! That's wonderful! Dizzy is so good!"

You and DH better get soon!

I just got my box of meds in the mail today for my 1st IVF. You should've seen my face when I saw how much there was. : I don't know how I will make it through.

Oh, Jenny, we have all been there. That first glimpse of the first IVF meds is quite the shock. You will make it through - it is amazing what a motivator that promise of motherhood can be!

Megan, your dizziness sounds SO promising!! I can't WAIT to hear good news on Friday!!!

Update

I couldn't stand it any longer and I POAS this morning.

I called the Dr office to let them know that I POAS and got a congratulatory return call from my favorite nurse. I'll be taking my bloodtest on Friday to get my numbers!

I almost can't believe it, but I did physically feel it. I have sore, heavy boobs, dizziness, a little nausea. I was pretty sure that I was, but it's still unbelieveable!

: Yay!!!!!!! Awesome! Congratulations! I'm so happy for you!

BTW, if you don't mind sharing, how many embies did you transfer, and what stage were they at? You know me, always looking for success stories for my arsenal of hope!
