I did a search on this subject, and found some threads that seemed to have few/no replies.
My parents have a moth infestation in their house. They recently sent me an old dress, and now we have moths flying around too. I'm very unhappy about this. A lot of lovely clothes have been destroyed in my parents' house.
They pack their closets with moth balls and overwhelming chemicals. I get a sore throat if the closet door is left open.
I would rather not do that, but I want something that will work. I would rather do chemicals as a one-time thing, get rid of them, and never have to do chemicals again... than do lots of cedar and lavender and still have moths.
Any suggestions? Ways to limit the awfulness of the chemicals? Other choices?
Also, are clothing-moths the same as weevil, food-moths?
Thank you!
