I just ordered a RoadID. It's a wrist band with emergency info that I can wear when running. www.roadid.com Originally I was going to put NKA / NKDA (no known allergies / no known drug allergies). But then I started worrying about tetanus--if I'm in any sort of accident with abrasions or bleeding, do you think they will give me a tetanus shot as part of emergency treatment? Or is it something they do prior to discharge from the hospital, at which time I would be able to refuse it?
I was thinking of putting on the ID that I have a tetanus vaccine allergy, or that my last tetanus vaccine was in 2006 (not true) so that they won't give it to me. Or would they anyway?
What should I do?
