Do you ever use teflon?

Do you ever use anything (waffle maker, etc.) that has teflon, or a similar non-stick coating on it?
My rice cooker.

My sandwich/panini maker has a teflon-like nonstick coating. We rarely use it, though.

Totally phased out nonstick pots, pans, bakeware, and such, though

Is there a waffle maker out there that does not have a non-stick coating?

I really want an indoor grill but they all are non-stick.

If you really love your waffles and really hate nonstick, look at vintage appliances. My grandma has a '60s-era waffle maker (ie, back before nonstick became all the rage) and it's going strong. I think it's cast iron, but am not positive.

I think most of my pots and pans right now are non stick. But I am building a house, and they are NOT moving with me! I am considering buying all glass- pyrex and visionware.. what do you think?
Be careful with the pyrex. My MIL's exploded one day after she cooked her roast. All over the kitchen. The shards were EVERYWHERE!!! (I stepped in it )
I've heard that there are problems with colored Pyrex, especially the cobalt, but I've never heard of clear Pyrex exploding?

Forgot about my breadmachine. :

Ok I have 2 things then

They dont see high heat or get scraped by hard things so after 3 years of use they look brand new.

Yup. Our bread maker and the George Forman grill are both lined with teflon. I've replaced everything else.
George Foreman grill & waffle maker both have teflon. So do the steel frying pans my mom got me for Christmas (she didn't realize that I wanted steel to get AWAY from teflon : ). I want to replace them as soon as I can afford to. (ETA: that is, I want to replace the pans as soon as I can afford to. The other two don't bother me as much.)

No, dumped all that crap years ago for fear of toxic exposure to the chemical(s) that make teflon so easy to clean.

We use an old waffle maker we bought at a yard sale for $2 with no non-stick coating, an iron skillet, stainless steel pots, and no bread maker.
I converted to all stainless steel and enamel coated cast iron (Le Cruset). I think it was all worth the investment. I think our breadmaker is coated, and probably the waffle iron as well.

You can find cast iron waffle makers on eBay. You can also find them in antique shops, but they cost about 6 times as much. Everyone in my family uses them.

We have a rice cooker and waffle iron that are Teflon coated. Otherwise, we ditched all the Teflon stuff in favor of cast iron, steel and glass. I was at Ikea a couple weeks ago and noticed that they're now carrying enamel-coated cast iron, too (like Le Creuset), only a lot more affordable.

Here is the cast iron waffle iron that I got from Lehmans. IT takes a few times of seasoning it though so it doesn't make a big stuck on mess!

Ever since I acquired pet birds, in 1997, I have never use Teflon or any other brand of non-stick cookware. THe PTFE would kill them in an instant.

edit: I don't have any "specialty" appliances, either. All my pots and pans are stainless steel and my bakeware is ceramic or glass.
I ditched my nonstick frying pan when I got headaches/nausea from using it.

I don't have any "specialty appliances" such as a waffle iron, bread machine, or rice cooker. My pots are all stainless steel (except one aluminum frying pan that's pretty sturdy,) my bakewear is pyrex and ceramic.

I think teflon should be banned. I read that it is found in the bloodstream of every creature on the planet. That's disgusting.
